I've used these splints for a couple of years now, and this one is very comfortable. They have helped prevent progression of my bunion and decreased some of the angle on the toe.

It did take me awhile to get used to this. At first my big toe was uncomfortable and my 2nd toe was irritated by the hard plastic. In addition, during the first week or so I experienced pain and cramping in the bottom of my foot, from the base of my big toe up into my arch--right along the outside edge of the bottom of my foot. But I was tired of sitting on the couch at night holding my big toe outward for relief and willing to give the regulator a chance.
Once all the tendons and muscles went through their adjustment period and my toes were used to the nightly pressure, the pain I was used to experiencing during the day dwindled and then disappeared. My pain was in the joint itself, not out on the bunion, and using this at night was a blessing -- since I don't need any bunion cushioning, this was the only thing I needed for relief.
After awhile without pain, I did get lazy about wearing the regulator and then lost the habit of putting in on. After a few months my pain returned and I've gone through a few days of pain/cramping in the bottom of my foot and I'm starting to notice improvement during the day. I've learned my lesson and my regulator is now a lifetime commitment.

I have suffered with bunion pain off and on for the past 22 years. My bunion pain had become severe due to my job in retail sales, being on my feet for 8-9 hours at a time for 4-5 days a week. The pain was so bad it hurt even during sleep. I saw this product and decided it was worth a try - the price is affordable so I thought "what do I have to lose?"
After the FIRST night I felt relief from the constant pain and throbbing. After only 1 week the pain was completely gone. The bunion is, of course, still there however I do not have pain as long as I use the bunion regulator every night.
My dog found the product very tasty one morning so I had to go without one for a few days while I waited for a replacement. The pain started coming back but within a day or two of use it has gone away. This product has changed my life for the better!

The product made me feel immediate ease and stress relief on my big toe. I wear heels often, so my toes get all bent out of shape, and this thing helped so much! It's adjustable so you can vary the amount of stretch. I like to use it at night before bed for extra relaxation (too intense to use while sleeping, although those are the instructions). Highly recommended.
