pediatrician June 17, 2008 Gerard D. Fritz 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
I am a pediatrician and bought these for my 12-year old daughter who was having heel pain (Severs Disease) playing basketball. An orthopedist once recommended to me that I should only recommend "waffle" heel lifts. Since I bought these for her, she has not complained of any heel pain. The gel inserts sold in most drug stores slip in the shoe and are generally worthless.
Tuli's Heavy Duty Gel Heel Cups, Regular (Under 175lbs) September 27, 2007 A. Gentile (Martinsburg, WV) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
My son suffers from Sever's Disease (which are basically growing pains in the feet) and these are incredible! He has had no discomfort in his feet this soccer season!

This is only the second heel cup I've tried, and it's a winner. Nothing looks like it could be better.
Several years ago I'd tried another brand of heel cups for a problem with the fit of some of my shoes. It was was worse than no solution. They were too small (size 14 shoes). They would not stay in position inside my shoes, sliding to one side or the other as I walked. I was disappointed with the whole concept of heel cups.
Now I have plantar fasciitis. Tuli's Gel Heel Cups appeared to be worth trying, especially since they come in different sizes. The Tuli's heel cups stay in place pretty well. (I'd have to say they slip a little, just because my feet are wide in the front and narrow at the heels. There's always too much room at the heels of my shoes, but YMMV.) The shock absorption is outstanding, and they seem to reduce or eliminate pressure points inside my shoes.
I bought two spare pairs so a.) I have them on hand when I've worn out my first pair, and b.) my order qualified for free shipping (nice bonus). I recommended them to my niece, a dance team coach. She bought a pair and says, "They're AWEsome!"
Meanwhile, I found some great stretching exercises on the Web and added one of my own in hopes of eventually eliminating heel pain. I'd love to wear shoes without heel cups again, but in the meantime, this product is the only one worth walking on.
Serious heel cushioning August 16, 2008 J. Sitterding 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
If you are looking for heel cushions where you can really feel a difference, these are the ones. It took a week or so to adjust to the way they feel in my shoe, since they raised my foot up a little bit. I'm not sure if they adjusted to me or I adjusted to them, but after a week or so, walking became more comfortable. Other heel pads or insoles I have used wear down very quickly, or are so flimsy they're like nothing. These really give your heels a comfortable cushion with just the right amount of support.
great product January 20, 2009 J. Lee (roanoke IN usa) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These heel cups are amazing I was suppose to start physical therapy for 2 heel spurs on my heel I was unable to walk without severe pain. I can't believe the difference after 2 days I'm walking with very little pain and back to doing exercise and look forward to putting them on in the morning. I can say I have tried other things also like a night splint which gives me some relief in the morning, custom orthodics were more painful for me,stretching, foot exercises and icing. these heel cups really take the pressure off my heels its like walking on air I highly recommend these.
